In the European Water Associations (EWA) annual meeting in Brussels 18.th November 2025, DWF was the moderator of a session with focus on the EU Water Resilience Strategy that calls for substantial action to manage our water. With input from the Commission through Mr. James Morrison, from Professor Thomas Wintgens, Aarchen University and Mr. Yvan Treal from Veolia. Key messages: Specific new research tied to the water resilience, better management of stormwater discharges and the difficulties to implement new technology in the water utility sector, due to a reluctant will to take in new technology.
