Danish Water Forum working group on EU Water Supply and Sanitation Technology Platform
Danish Water Forum has become member of the Board of the EU Water Supply and Sanitation Technology Platform the purpose of which is to prepare an input to the formulation and prioritization of the forthcoming 7th EU Research Framework Programme (FP7). See more
DWF members of the platform board are Henrik Larsen (DHI) and Jørn Rasmussen (DHI), attending on availability basis.
The Board will be supported by four thematic working groups (TWG) with a nominated leading partner:
- TWG1: Water Management tools: monitoring, surveillance, EO systems, modelling tools, DSS, flood forecasting, flood management tools, flood defense technologies, water for ecosystems (quality, quantity) – Chair: IAHR
DWF participant and chair of Danish working group is Jens Christian Refsgaard / GEUS - TWG2: Urban and Peri-urban Water Systems, which may be partially operated through two sub-groups: wastewater+stormwater and drinking water – Chair: EUREAU
DWF participant is Peter Busch / Grundfos - TWG3: Water in industry – Chair: EUCETSA
DWF participant and chair of Danish working group is Gert Holm Kristensen / DHI Water & Environment - TWG4: Water in agriculture – Chair: NWP
DWF participant and chair of danish working group is Finn Plauborg / Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences
The Board shall submit the final recommendation document to the Commission by June 2005. Draft documents from the TWGs shall be ready by December 2004.
