6 Danish companies have joined a unique partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency, Danish Water Forum and the Danish embassy in India. On November 22nd the new partnership signed a memorandum of understanding with the water board in New Delhi. The purpose of the agreement is to open the door to the Indian market for Danish water technology in order to enable Danish companies to participate in solving one of the main environmental challenges in India: wastewater treatment in the megacity of New Delhi. Nordic Climate Facility (NCF): Second call for proposals with deadline on January 14th, 2011. Proposals are to address climate change - mitigation and/or adaptation themes and have strong development impacts. The projects should have at least one Nordic partner. Eligible partner countries are in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Read more
