The Fornyelsesfonden opens up for a new round of applications with deadline on January 17, 2012. A total amount of 120 mio DKK is available for green projects as co-financing for commercial products and services. "A vision becomes reality" - European Water Partnership launches the European Water Stewardship programme at an event for sustainable water users in agriculture and industry to be held on 24 November 2011 at the Royal Academy of Belgium in Brussels. Read more

The Trade Council under the Ministry of  Foreign Affairs is launching a new export programme, Vitus, to help Danish companies share in the growth opportunities at the global markets through collaboration between companies and export advisers and focusing on specific sales activities. EU-India Cooperation in Water Technology - Complementary Indian call has been launched (Topic ENV.2012.6.6-1). Water related challenges have been identified as an important theme for more ambitious research collaboration between the EU, its Member States and India. Read more

Danish Water Forum is offering travel grants to students doing field work in countries not covered by Danida Travel Grants. General conditions: The project must be water-related and must take place in countries not covered by the Danida Fellowship travel grant. Projects doing field study in emerging markets, countries in transition from developing to developed (Mellemindkomstlande) - primarily countries in Asia, Northern or Southern Africa and Latin America - will be prioritized. The field study must be of a duration that allows for gathering relevant material (minimum 1 month). The applicant must be a master student enrolled at a Danish higher education institution. This call expires on September 15th. Read more
