Danish Indian Demonstration Partnership
In February 2009, 6 Danish companies and Danish Water Forum participated in the Danish-Indian Water Days, a Danish-organised event taking place in both New Delhi and in Mumbay. Through the contacts with the invited Indian guests and through site visits to Indian wastewater treatment plants it became clear that the potential for selling Danish know-how and services was good. The 6 companies, DWF, The Danish Embassy in India and the Danish Min. Environment decided to for a partnership with the aim of identifying one wastewater treatment plant and then rehabilitate parts or all of it with Danish technology and know-how.
In December 2009 DWF signed a contract with the Danish EPA for facilitating the partnership and the work has just started.
The six companies are:
- COWI
- Danfoss
- DHI
- Grundfos
- Odense Water
- Siemens Turbomachinery
This page will be updated with the important events and milestones from the project.
