Danish delegation visited the water utilities of Sao Paulo in June
More than 13 Danish companies joined forces in February 2015 and responded to an "emergency call" from one of Sao Paulo's water utilities. The Danish companies drafted a concept proposal which highlighted Danish solutions to many of the problems incurred by the Brazilian water utility. In June a Danish delegation, representing the many Danish companies went to Brazil and presented our solutions within groundwater management and mapping, leakage detection, metering, energy optimization, and special treatment. The work has been coordinated by DWF and AVK with support from the Danish Consulate in Sao Paulo and has shown that concerted actions with a wider group of Danish companies could be the way forward to open new doors to export of Danish water knowhow and technology. Next step has been launched with direct discussions on specific topics.
